The client approached DevTeam.Space with the task of extending the PoS terminal features and adding a feature for micro-loan management.

Solution

Our tech account manager organized the design phase to update the PoS user interface. The deliverables included:

Updated PoS terminal user interface design,
Coding phase detailed plan and estimate.

After the design phase, our expert Android app development team started the coding phase. As a result, the update was completed within 2 months. The terminal UI and frontend were updated, while the backend was extended to facilitate scheduled payouts.

Our development team worked on developing a loan system with 3 basic loan amounts. The attached terms used pre-collected data from the PoS to calculate the credit score and offered the most suitable loan terms. We developed a feature that enabled scheduling monthly payments from credit cards and PayPal. The PoS terminal firmware was also updated to support loan issuance.
